Zebec Network is a decentralized infrastructure network designed for real-time value flows. Originally launched on Solana in 2021, it pioneered the concept of “streaming payments” โ continuous, per-second money transfers instead of traditional batch payments.
How Zebec Works
Instead of receiving your salary once a month or every two weeks, Zebec enables employers to stream wages to employees in real-time. Every second, a tiny fraction of your paycheck arrives in your wallet. The same technology works for subscriptions, royalties, and any recurring payment.
The protocol uses smart contracts to manage payment flows automatically. Once set up, there’s no manual processing โ funds flow continuously from sender to recipient until the stream is cancelled or modified.
Core Products
Zebec Payroll: The flagship product enabling real-time salary streaming for Web3 companies and DAOs. Employees can withdraw earned funds at any moment rather than waiting for payday.
Zebec Cards: Mastercard-powered debit cards (Silver and Black tiers) that let users spend their streaming payments as fiat. Available in 100+ countries with Apple Pay and Google Pay support. Zero-fee spending with crypto-to-fiat conversion.
Zebec Safe: Multi-signature treasury management for DAOs and organizations. Provides secure, decentralized control over group assets with customizable approval workflows.
Wagelink: A traditional payroll app with built-in Web3 features, designed for companies transitioning from legacy systems. Developed in partnership with Circle and USDC infrastructure.
Nautilus Chain: Zebec’s own Layer 3 blockchain built using zkRollup technology. It serves as the payments-focused modular chain where ZBCN is used for gas fees.
Multi-Chain Expansion
While Zebec started on Solana, it has expanded to multiple networks including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, and NEAR Protocol. This multi-chain approach ensures users can access Zebec’s payment streaming regardless of their preferred blockchain ecosystem.
DePIN Integration
Zebec has entered the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure) space with proprietary Point-of-Sale (PoS) systems. This allows merchants to accept crypto payments in physical retail environments, further bridging the gap between digital assets and everyday commerce.
The ZBC to ZBCN Migration
In April 2024, Zebec underwent a token migration from ZBC to ZBCN with a 1:10 split. This means each original ZBC token was converted to 10 ZBCN tokens. The migration was designed to increase accessibility and better represent the expanded Zebec Network ecosystem.
